Learn to Draw an Emu

I will draw a funny bird

With tiny wings that cannot fly

It will have two long legs with three big toes

I'll give it a beak instead of a nose

To draw her I start with an egg,

So she can stand I'll draw a leg.

She cannot walk with only one,

So I add another just for fun.

Her neck is long so she can peck the ground

I draw a head so she can look around

Her neck is blue and feathers gray

She is funny, what can I say?

Note to teacher: To vary this project a bit,  glue emu feathers onto the body of the bird.
